LICENSED ESTHETICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Esthetician has a passion for providing outstanding service to customers while performing makeup application and facials. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge and education on health and beauty concerns to very discerning clientele. You will perform product demonstrations and develop customer relations by educating customers about the company’s products and unique qualities. As part of the store sales team, you will actively participate in selling products to customers when not providing facials. Your other responsibilities include stocking products on shelves, making sales transactions at the point of sale and keeping the store and spa area in excellent condition for the next client.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Esthetician license.
Proficient in facials with a passion for retail.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
Must be friendly, energetic, persistent, and have a positive attitude.
Proficient in register transactions and is adaptable to new technology.
A team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform facials in accordance with regulatory and customer service standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of company products and services and use this knowledge to build sales.
Maintain schedule for client appointments; maintain and update customer profiles.
Practice suggestive selling, offering every customer related items in order to drive multiple unit sales.
Share equally in the operational responsibilities of the company as customer traffic allows.

HAIR STYLIST

The Hair Stylist has a passion for providing outstanding service to customers while performing hands on hair styling and applying hair extensions. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge and education on health and beauty concerns to very discerning clientele. You will perform product demonstrations and develop customer relations by educating customers about the company’s products and unique qualities. As part of the store sales team, you will actively participate in selling products to customers when not styling hair. Your other responsibilities include stocking products on shelves, making sales transactions at the point of sale and keeping the store and work areas in excellent condition for the next client.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Cosmetology license.
Proficient in styling hair with a passion for retail.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
Must be friendly, energetic, persistent, and have a positive attitude.
Six months previous work experience.
Proficient in register transactions and is adaptable to new technology.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
A team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning environment.
Previous experience in commission based retail sales is highly desired.

Analyze patrons’ hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles.
Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set style. Develop new styles and techniques.
Demonstrate knowledge of company products and services and use this knowledge to build sales.
Maintain schedule for client appointments; maintain and update customer profiles.
Practice suggestive selling, offering every customer related items in order to drive multiple unit sales.
Share equally in the operational responsibilities of the company as customer traffic allows.

MAKE-UP ARTIST

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Make-up Artist has a passion for providing outstanding service to customers while performing consultation. This professional must understand color and skin tone in order to match each customer with the right makeup and know the kind and amount of makeup that is appropriate for different people. The Make-up Artist must also be a skin care expert alert for allergic reactions and other possible negative effects of makeup. This involves knowing how to assess customers’ skin types to avoid irritation or rashes. Creativity is required to visualize a particular look and bring it to life with the makeup and other styling materials available.
