Of course every Brilliance New York product is created to the highest standards and thoroughly examined before it is shipped. But if, for any reason, you need to return your Brilliance New York products, we'll ensure the whole process is as simple and fast as possible.

We adore our Brilliance New York customers, and your satisfaction is very important to us! We will gladly accept returns of eligible styling tools within 30 days from the date of delivery confirmation, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging, and in good condition, unless defective or damaged upon arrival.
International Returns are not accepted at this time. We currently accept returns only from orders shipped within the United States.
All returns that result in a refund will incur a flat $9.50 handling fee, which is charged per return and will be deducted from your total refund amount. This fee does not apply to products that are defective or damaged upon arrival.
Color Availability & Order Substitution Policy
Important — Please Read Carefully. By placing an order on BrillianceNewYork.com, the customer explicitly agrees to the following terms regarding product color and variant availability:
Automatic Color Substitution: In the event that the color or variant ordered is not in stock at the time of fulfillment, Brilliance New York reserves the right to ship the same product in an available color variant. By completing a purchase, the customer hereby agrees to accept a different color variation of the same item or a comparable substitute item.
Comparable Substitute Items may include, but are not limited to, products under any of our brands: Vera Prime, Hairoic, Brilliance New York, or Lybrr. For example: if a customer orders a yellow flat iron and yellow is not available, the company reserves the right — and the customer hereby explicitly agrees — to ship the same item in a different available color, or a similar item (e.g., a clipless curling iron set with 3 barrels, where one barrel matches the size ordered, or another comparable item from any of our brand families).
Upgrade Policy: If a customer is upgraded to a higher-value item due to stock availability, this is considered a benefit, not grounds for return or refund. The customer agrees that no claim shall be made against Brilliance New York or against the customer's credit card company on this basis.
48-Hour Email Confirmation: In cases where a color selection must be confirmed, Brilliance New York will email the customer to confirm their preference. If the customer does not reply within 48 hours, the company reserves the right to ship any available color in stock. Items shipped under this condition are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for color-related reasons.
No Chargebacks for Color Substitution: By purchasing on BrillianceNewYork.com, the customer explicitly waives any right to file a chargeback or dispute with their credit card company based on color unavailability, color substitution, or product upgrade, provided the item shipped is the same or comparable product from one of our brand families.
Your Return Options
When initiating a return for an eligible item, you will be able to choose one of the following options:
Exchange
You may exchange your product for a different variant (e.g., color, size, etc.) of the same product, subject to availability.
Refund
A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and process your return. The amount refunded will be the price paid for the individual product, including taxes on that product, minus the flat $9.50 handling fee. The original shipping fee is non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
Store Credit
You may opt to receive Store Credit equal to the price you paid for the individual product, including taxes. If you choose this option, the flat $9.50 handling fee will be waived. The original shipping fee remains non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, the customer must email Info@BrillianceNewYork.com with the following:
• The reason for the refund request
• Confirmation that the customer has read the Return Policy on BrillianceNewYork.com
• Confirmation that the item is eligible for a refund under this policy
Note: Any refund request that does not include confirmation of policy review and item eligibility will be automatically omitted. If the item is not eligible for a refund under this policy, the request will not be processed.
Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
The following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned:
• Hair Care items
• Accessories
• Value Sets & Bundles
• Free items (Giveaways)
• Any item purchased with a discount coupon or promotional code exceeding 20% off
• Any item purchased with a coupon code — regardless of color availability or lack thereof
• Any item marked as final sale at the time of purchase
• Items outside of original packaging
• Items that have been used beyond initial inspection, or damaged due to customer misuse
If you send a hair care product back, you will only be refunded for the tool(s) included. Hair Care Products & Accessories are final sale and cannot be returned.
Free items or orders purchased with a free item discount code are considered final sale. We may allow a return of a purchased tool within this order exclusively for Store Credit. Refunds will not be issued for this.
Coupon Code Purchases — Color Policy: Customers who purchase using a coupon or promotional code may not return items citing color availability or the unavailability of a specific color. By using a coupon code at checkout, the customer accepts these terms in full.
Limited Warranty
Brilliance New York is pleased to offer a Lifetime Warranty on styling tool products, valid for the lifetime of the product. At our discretion, Brilliance New York will either issue store credit for the cost of the order or exchange the damaged/defective product covered under this warranty.

This Warranty Does NOT Cover:
• Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging.
• Damages resulting from accident, day-to-day wear and tear including product build-up, scratched or damaged plates, abuse of the electrical cord, neglect in safety, or the use of unauthorized attachments.
• Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.

Our warranty covers styling tools only. Hair Care & Accessories products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, consistent with hygiene and consumer safety laws.
Returned to Sender, Refused & Lost Packages
We are unable to make changes to orders that are placed on our system once shipped. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery. Brilliance New York does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect at the time of purchase.
Shipping Limitations
When an order is placed, it will be shipped to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this website. All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items are placed upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments. If the carrier contacts Brilliance New York and confirms its loss, then Brilliance New York will send out a replacement order. Brilliance New York is unable to refund lost shipments.
International Orders
On occasion, customers placing an order from countries outside the USA will be charged Duties, Taxes, Customs, or VAT. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Brilliance New York is not responsible for any additional fees incurred from making a USA-based purchase. In the event you wish not to pay these additional fees imposed by your country of residence, you are still responsible for returning the product to us in order to potentially be eligible to receive a refund.
Hotel Shipments: When you ask us to ship to a hotel and the shipment is delayed — and you have already left the country — we cannot re-route the shipment. The shipment will be delivered to the address on file. In that case, you should contact the hotel concierge and arrange for the item to be shipped to your home country at your own expense.
Returning an Item
Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your return:
1. Create a Return Ticket: Contact our customer service via email or phone to create a return ticket and obtain an RMA or Shipping Plan number. The return form will provide you with the correct return address.
⚠ WARNING: Any return sent back without a proper Shipping Plan number will not be honored and warehouse staff will not be able to process it.
2. Repack the Product: Re-pack the product(s) in its original packaging and include all warranty cards, manuals, accessories, and protective packaging. To be accepted for return, all products must be returned in the original box containing all original product packaging and accessories.
3. Complete the Return Form: Fill out the back of your invoice noting the reason for return. This will help us process your return as quickly and simply as possible.
4. Ship the Package: Send the package with the completed returns form and Shipping Plan number. For your protection, we recommend you use a registered delivery service that includes a traceable delivery method insured to the value of your parcel. Brilliance New York is not responsible for any returns lost in transit.
Important: A copy of your original receipt or printed order confirmation email must be attached to this form. Any item sent to Brilliance New York without proof of purchase will be returned to sender, unless you have written authorization from Brilliance New York.
We will notify you via email when we have processed your refund. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the product was damaged during delivery or if the wrong item was shipped.
*Shipments being returned will be credited for the difference once approved, minus shipping cost.
** We strongly recommend shipping your tool via a carrier that issues tracking numbers and requires a signature. Please ensure your package is well protected during transit — we are not responsible for tools that are damaged or lost during the return shipping process.

Packaging & Environmental Policy
Eco-Friendly Shipping: Brilliance New York reserves the explicit right to ship items without paper or plastic packaging in order to support green initiatives and reduce environmental waste. An item may be received without its original outer packaging and will arrive new, unused, and in full working condition. The absence of packaging does not constitute grounds for return, refund, or exchange.
Damaged Packaging Upon Arrival: In the event that a product arrives with a damaged box or outer packaging, Brilliance New York reserves the right to charge a fee. Please note that box or packaging damage alone — where the product itself is undamaged — does not qualify the item for return or refund under this policy.
Health & Safety Notice
We take matters of hygiene and public safety very seriously. Therefore, due to health and safety concerns and in accordance with applicable law, Brilliance New York cannot accept returns or exchanges of any liquids, hair care products, or hair accessories. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
