Beautiful Brows in Four Easy Steps
The crisp Fall air of October is upon us, which is just another reason your brows need to be crisp and seriously on fleek. Any time of year, beautiful brows can be the perfect polishing touch to your look. We’re here to rescue your brow game. Just follow these four easy steps from Brilliance New York.
1. Go to a pro. Great brows start with a great shape. Work with someone who knows what they’re doing and can give you the best shape for your face - and one that goes with your natural arch so they’re easy to maintain.
2. Highlight. Swipe a color on your brow bone that’s a shade or two lighter than your skin tone so your brows stand out and your eyes pop. Choose a shimmery shadow, cream, crayon, or matte based on which one adds balance or appealing contrast to your features and outfit.
3. Define and fill. Choose a color roughly the same shade as your brows or a little darker. You can use a brow pencil or an angle brush with brow powder or shadow. Start by etching the bottom arch for a crisp line. Then, in short outward strokes, proceed to fill in your brows.
4. Lock it in. Use a brow brush to make sure everything’s neat and tidy. Once you’ve achieved a look to your liking, keep it in place all day with brow gel or clear mascara.
